Tattoo Removal Large Area Consultation

$55.00 (inc. GST)

Tattoo Removal for areas which are larger then a standard business card size.  Firstly we will need to perform the Tattoo Removal Clinical Consultation to determine the size, colors and procedure steps. Tattoo Removal Consultation cost is $50, to cover the consulting time and will be redeemable against the cost of your first treatment. When we are performing the Tattoo Removal Treatment, it is usually over fairly quickly (obviously, bigger tattoos take longer than smaller ones). Lasers remove tattoos by breaking up the pigment colors of the tattoo with a high-intensity light beam. Black tattoo pigment absorbs all laser wavelengths, making it the easiest to treat. Other colors can only be treated by selected lasers based upon the pigment color.

For the purposes of Tattoo Removal we use a dual wavelength system to efficiently target and remove all tattoo colours and pigmented lesions. Yellow, Brown, Orange, Red, Blue and Black pigments can be removed effectively and quickly. A course of about 10 – 12 treatments may be needed to fully remove tattoos and pigmented lesions.

For areas larger then a standard business card size we will need to see the area and the colours of the tattoo to advise the cost per treatment. We will take a photo of it, so we can then have a ‘before’ shot for you to track your progress.

Does it hurt?

Yes and no. It depends where the tattoo is. Some areas on the body hurt more than others (like bony areas – ankles, lower spine etc) but it mainly feels like a flicking sensation.

How many Tattoo Removal Treatment sessions do I need?

Generally, seven treatments is a good guide. The variables are the colours in the tattoo, the type of ink used, and how old the tattoo is. The other thing is, you may be happy to have a faded tattoo. Others may want the tattoo removed fully.
